| News • The Fredericksburg City Council passed amendments to their sidewalk plan and solicitation ordinance during their regular meeting Monday night, which followed a special meeting to set 2016 budget priorities. The council also received a final report from the Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club about the Fredericksburg Skate Park, due to be open in the next couple of weeks. • The Fredericksburg Hermann Sons Lodge will meet tonight at the Hermann Sons Lodge. A social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a hamburger supper and business meeting. Members attending are asked to bring a side dish. The lodge will honor all fathers at the meeting. • Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will conduct a private pesticide application training class on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Gillespie County Agricultural Extension Building. This four-to-five-hour training session is for individuals who do not have a license and those desiring to buy restricted chemicals. Individuals interested in attending should contact the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office at 997-3452.
