| News • The Fredericksburg City Council will meet at 5 p.m. tonight at the Gillespie County Law Enforcement Center to discuss priorities for their 2016 budget. Following that special meeting, the council will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m., where they will discuss several ordinances — including the sidewalk plan, solicitation ordinance, affordable housing fee waivers and utility fees — and will receive reports on the Fredericksburg Skate Park and the Historic Review Board. • Coeds interested in participating in the Stonewall Peach JAMboree queen’s contest are reminded that the deadline for submitting a completed application is today. Applications postmarked after today will not be accepted.
