A number of galleries will be offering special events on Friday, Sept. 4, as part of the First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg celebration.
Participating galleries will feature demonstrations, art talks, receptions, visits with the artists and more.
Gallery hours will vary.

The following galleries have submitted information concerning their First Friday Art Walk events:
Agave Gallery —Fine Art. Texas Style!, 208 East San Antonio, is hosting an exhibit and reception with Texas artist Stephen Napper on Friday, Sept. 4.
A native of West Texas, Napper owned and managed an art gallery in Ingram for 10 years. He is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America since 1981, and was also one of the first signature members of the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters.
Currently, Napper is creating new paintings from oils, and will give demonstrations from 5-8 p.m. during the reception on Friday.
Agave Gallery opens at 10 a.m.
Artisans —A Texas Gallery, 234 West Main, will feature stained glass mosaic artist Kathleen Dalrymple during September.
She creates hanging translucent mosaic windows from stained glass and other colorful medium.
Artists is celebrating its 10th year of showcasing Texas fine art and fine craft during this month’s First Friday Art Walk.
An artist reception will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday.
Cowboy Bronze, 226 West Main, will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday for the First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg celebration.
Patrons are invited to stop by the gallery to view the works on display as well as some new works in progress by Bub Vickers.
Refreshments will be served from 5-8 p.m.
Eleven Squared Venue, 408 North Llano, is opening in time for First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg.
Eleven Squared Venue offers fine art framing, accredited art appraising, fine art brokering and a gallery representing 15 artists from North Texas and surrounding communities.
Artists include painters from the Pecan Creek Artists of Wichita Falls, photographer Angela Bacon Kidwell, sculptor Laura Gillis and mixed media artist Roxana Tuff.
Eleven Squared Venue is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and by appointment on Sundays.
Fredericksburg Art Gallery, 314 East Main, will present “A Universe of Light” by Texas artist C.S. Talley.
An artist reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday. Wine from Grape Creek Vineyards and snacks will be served.
Artist demonstrations will be offered from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday.
Texas painter Talley includes subjects from California to Canada to Iceland. His plein air studies become the studio works presented in “A Universe of Light.”
The art will be available to view and purchase throughout September.
