Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site played host to the “Stonewall Seed Stomp Skedaddle” a 5K fun run/walk and a 10K run, Saturday.
Greg Simms was the winner of the men’s 5K run, finishing the course in 24 minutes and 18 seconds.
McKenna Cowsert took first place in the women’s 5K run with her 25 minute, 17 second finish.
In the 10K, Mark Weidner beat out the competition and took first place in his division. Weidner finished the course in 47 minutes and 51 seconds.
Tara Ambrose finished her 10K run in 58 minutes and 04 seconds, which was good enough to win first place in her division.
