Fredericksburg High School Band will host its annual Turkey Dinner and Concert on Feb. 7 at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds.
Serving begins at 11 a.m. and the concert will start at noon.
Admission is free and food will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to those who buy food tickets.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $9 from any band student or booster, or for $10 at the door.
There will be prizes given away during the concert, for which tickets will be sold for $2 a ticket or $10 for a book of six.
Assistance from the parking lot will be given as needed.
The Beginning Band will start off the concert and each band will play one after the other, with minimal break in between.
Concert
The Fredericksburg Middle School Beginning Band, conducted by Brandt Barnard, will open the concert with “Band Room Boogie” and “Power Rock,” by Michael Sweeney.
They will be followed by the FMS Concert Band, under the direction of Patrick Cheney, who will play “Capture the Moment March,” by William Owens, and “Colliding Visions,” by Brian Balmages.
