NIMITZ FOUNDATION DONATES — Gen. Mike Hagee (USMC, ret.), president and CEO of the Admiral Nimitz Foundation, along with foundation supporters, Boot Ranch staff, and Mike Crownover of Valero present Sgt. Guillermo Tejeda and Sgt. Kenneth Fischer with a check for $14,000. The Admiral Nimitz Foundation held its fourth annual Nimitz Golf Classic on June 14 with the proceeds from the golf event resulting in a $14,000 donation to Wounded Warriors Outdoors.

The event drew golfers from all over the country.

Each year the foundation chooses another non-profit which helps military service members and donates a portion of the proceeds raised through the tournament to that organization.

The money will go toward funding hunting, fishing and camping trips for qualified Wounded Warriors.

Wounded Warrior Outdoors, Inc. is a non-profit organization exclusively founded to provide wounded servicemen and women with therapeutic outdoor adventures across North America. WWO gives active duty warriors in transition an adventure in the wilderness location of their choice.
