Harper High School is observing its annual Homecoming celebration with activities this week at the school, culminating with the naming of the new king and queen during halftime of Friday’s 7:30 p.m. varsity football game with Sabinal.

Since Monday, students have been participating in carnival-type games in the school’s common area from noon to 12:30 p.m. These activities will continue through Thursday.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, a tailgate party will be held in the student parking lot, followed by a community pep rally in the stadium at 7:30 p.m.

A dance party for Harper High School students only will be held in the school cafeteria after the football game on Friday until midnight.
