Aim For Success will present their “Freedom to Succeed” program to Fredericksburg Middle School students and parents later this month.
The school will also present open houses to further acquaint parents with the school and their children’s teachers.

For parents, the Aim For Success program on teens, sex and choices will be from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the FMS Cafeteria.
For students, the program will be throughout the day, Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The Aim For Success motivational programs have educated more than two million teens, parents and educators across America since 1993 on topics such as sex, drugs and bullying.
The Freedom to Succeed program discusses legal reasons why to choose abstinence.
“While society strives to remove sexual boundaries,” said Marilyn Morris, president of Aim For Success, “state and federal laws are still enforced. These laws exist to protect potential victims of sexual crimes, and punish those who break the law. Either way, young people need to know the law.”
The parent program is a preview of the student presentation where parents will learn creative ways to talk openly with their children about sex and encourage them to avoid sexual activity until marriage.
“This is a must see event for anyone concerned about the problems associated with teen sexual activity,” said Morris.
All FMS parents are encouraged to attend and community guests are welcomed to the parent program on Tuesday night.

Open Houses
The seventh and eighth grade open houses at FMS will be at 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, beginning in the school cafeteria.
A week later, the sixth grade open house will be at 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the cafeteria.
Students and parents are encouraged to participate.
