Relay For Life Gillespie County will be celebrating “30 years of Hope” on Saturday, April 25.
This year’s event has been moved to the gazebo on the Gillespie County Courthouse Square and will take place from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
A survivor and caregiver celebration with dessert and punch will take place from 7:30-8:30 p.m., followed by the luminaria ceremony starting at 8:30 p.m.
The prize drawing will take place during the event.
Dana Wilson, Relay For Life event chairman, encouraged everyone to bring their lawn chairs and “celebrate our survivors/caregivers.”
She noted that this year, due to unforeseen circumstances, Relay For Life is a smaller-than-usual event.
All events are weather-permitting.
