Holiday Home Tour celebrates 57th anniversary

Six historical homes and a ranch home will be featured during the Gillespie County Historical Society, Pioneer Museum’s 57th Annual Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The Holiday Home Tour on Saturday is part of the “Holiday Happenings” events that will also include the Tannenbaum Ball on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Proceeds from both events will benefit the Gillespie County Historical Society, Pioneer Museum.

The homes on the tour will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets for the tour are $30 per person.

Home tour tickets can be purchased online at www.pioneermuseum.net or by calling 830-990-8441.  

Local musicians will be performing at various homes throughout the day.

This is a self-guided tour.

A booklet with the tour map and full description of each home is given to each Holiday Home Tour participant.

A Museum Christmas Store during the tour will be located at the home of Paul and Mona Knopp where a variety of books, toys and other unique gifts and goodies can be purchased.

Also available will be a limited number of 2014 edition handmade ceramic ornaments.

All purchases benefit Pioneer Museum.
