• The Fredericksburg Farmers Market will be held today from 4-7 p.m. on the grounds of Pioneer Museum.
• Gillespie County Republicans will hold their fourth quarterly dinner meeting tonight at the Hermann Sons Lodge. A social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner at 7 p.m. Amy Clark, vice chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, will be the guest speaker.
• The Fredericksburg FFA will hold its monthly Junior FFA meeting this afternoon at the Stonewall Elementary School cafeteria from 3:30-5 p.m.
Sports
• Competing at the District 29-4A Cross Country Meet on Wednesday, the Fredericksburg High School varsity boys' and girls' teams both finished third in their respective divisions. Both teams will advance to the regional meet on Nov. 1 in San Antonio. The JV boys finished first and the JV girls were third.
• Fredericksburg High School varsity tennis will play Lampasas today starting at 4 p.m. at Llano High School.
• The FHS JV and freshmen football teams will play Canyon Lake tonight. The JV will be on the road for a 7 p.m. game while the freshmen will play in the FHS Stadium at 7 p.m.
• Fredericksburg Middle School seventh and eighth graders are also playing Canyon Lake tonight. The seventh grade will play at home in the FHS Stadium and the eighth graders will be on the road. The White teams play at 4 p.m. and the Red teams at 5:30 p.m.
• Harper High School JV football will travel to Center Point for a 6:30 p.m. game The Junior High football team will play in Center Point at 5 p.m.
