St. Mary’s Catholic School is hosting an Alumni Tailgate Party from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the St. Mary’s Holy Family Center.
The party will be prior to the Apaches’ homecoming football game against the St. Anthony Saints.
Alumni, parents of St. Mary’s students and friends of St. Mary’s are all invited to the event. Officials encourage alumni — whether high school or eighth grade — to invite classmates to join them.
The event will feature appetizers and heavy hors d’oeuvres, as well as beer, wine and tea.
At 4:45 p.m., there will be special recognition given to the St. Mary’s School Benefactors at the event. The benefactors have been longtime financial supporters of various SMS programs.
Besides recognizing the benefactors, former St. Mary’s Coach A.J. Loth will be there to tell about the history of St. Mary’s football. Previous St. Mary’s homecoming queens will be at the event along with the cheerleaders.
