FHS celebrates Homecoming

Homecoming king and queen nominees from Fredericksburg High School step out onto the field at FHS Stadium Monday in advance of the annual homecoming coronation at halftime of the varsity football game, slated for Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against Llano. A football game, crowning of a king and queen and a dance on Friday night will highlight the Fredericksburg High School Homecoming 2014 celebration.

Kick-off for the FHS varsity football game against Llano on Friday night in the FHS Stadium is at 7:30 p.m.

The new FHS Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime ceremonies and the dance will follow the game.

Nominees for homecoming queen and their parents include:

•Ariana Chavez, daughter of Doris Cardenas.

•Paxten Keyser, daughter of Vanya and Brent Keyser.

•Brooke Rogan, daughter of Tim and Monica Rogan.

•Kendyl Stevens, daughter of Missy Garcia-Stevens and Mike Stevens.

•Delta Wise, daughter of Linda Wise and Paul Robinson.

Nominees for homecoming king and their parents are:

•Braden Bowers, son of Audri and Chip Bowers.

•Mason Clark, son of Claudyne and Tracy Clark.

•Ty Franklin, son of Debra Franklin and Karry Franklin.

•Kyle Grona, son of Dana and Glen Grona.

•Mark Rodriguez, son of Kelle and Louis Rodriguez.

The king and queen nominees will be escorted by family members.

A dance will follow the game on Friday night until 12:30 a.m. in the FHS Cafeteria.
