Nobody new this week filed to run for the three seats up for election in the Fredericksburg Independent School District Board of Trustees election, while one Doss Common Consolidated School District Board of Trustees incumbent has filed for re-election.
According to Gillespie County Judge Mark Stroeher’s office, Denver Mixon has filed to run for re-election in Doss. Mixon is the only candidate so far to have filed to run. Incumbents Cecil Crenwelge and Linda Kesler have not filed yet.
For FISD, incumbents Lorrie Hess and Kay Stech have filed for re-election while fellow incumbent Leola Mills has yet to do so.
Kerinne Herber has also filed to run for a seat on the FISD board.
