Dialogues and Dances, begun in 2002 by Mark Hierholzer to be a forum for new composition, will host monthly shows at 7 p.m. every second Saturday at the Hill Country University Center.
The first show of 2013 will be Saturday, Jan. 11 at the HCUC. Director Hierholzer said this month’s show will feature solo piano and accordion music, along with newly composed and traditional classical music compositions.
Hierholzer said the shows were originally slated quarterly at Zion Lutheran Church.
“At first it was only my work and work written for me, but later involved student composers as well as works written for other instrumentalists specifically for these concerts,” Hierholzer said.
