News

• The Fredericksburg Farmer's Market will take place today from 4-7 p.m. at Marktplatz.

• Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce hosted a member orientation session this morning at the Hill Country University Center.

• Promotional exercises will be held tonight for Harper eighth graders. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the new gym.

• Coeds interested in vying for the title of Stonewall Peach Queen are reminded that the deadline for submitting applications is Monday. The applications are available in the office at Fredericksburg High School or online at the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce website.

• Seth Studebaker and Matthew Myers will lead the Fredericksburg High School Class of 2013 as the valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively. Graduation ceremonies will be held Friday, June 7, in the FHS Stadium.

• Logan Igarta and Amanda Lochte were named the Male and Female Athlete of the Year by the FHS coaching staff.
