Honoring founders

Founders Day events on May 14 included a laying of the wreath near the bust of Fredericksburg founder John O. Meusenbach at Marktplatz. Among Meusenbach’s direct descendants in attendance were, from left), great-great-granddaughter Dr. Cynthia Fuller Frey and great-granddaughters Patsy Marschall Stewart and Dr. Marie M. Fuller. Also at the wreath laying were former Gillespie County Historical Society president Glen Treibs, GCHS board of directors’ president Dr. James Lindley and Pioneer Museum executive director Dr. Jeryl Hoover.
