• Percentage of adults with at least a high school education (Higher is smarter.).
• Public schools per capita (Higher is smarter.).
• Private schools per capita (Higher is smarter.).
• Ratio of libraries to bars.
The data was culled from AreaVibes, an application that uses its own algorithm to rate the appeal of cities, and Yelp, an application that offers crowd sourced reviews of small businesses.
