Tickets for “Our Town,” Fredericksburg Theater Company’s next production, will go on sale to the public, Monday, Oct. 5.
The Thornton Wilder drama will be performed at the Steve W. Shepherd Theater at 1668 U.S. 87 South, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m., Oct. 16 through Nov. 1.
Admission is $29 for adults and $12 for children 17 and under.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.fredericksburgtheater.org or by calling the box office at 830-997-3588.
A special Thursday night performance will be at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 29, and there won’t be a performance on Halloween, which falls on Saturday, Oct. 31.
FTC executive director Steve Reily is directing “Our Town,” winner of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for drama and described by Edward Albee as “… the greatest American play ever written.”
Set in Grover’s Corner, New Hampshire, “Our Town” describes how simple moments can provide the deepest echoes throughout life.
