| News • Fredericksburg Farmer's Market will be open today from 4-7 p.m. at Marktplatz. • School photos for the Fredericksburg High School Senior Class of 2016 will be taken today and again on Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the FHS Auditorium. Senior portrait information for the Class of 2016 has been mailed out and seniors should have a brochure and postcard with their photo date and appointment time. • The National Museum of the Pacific War will show the film, “Fat Man and Little Boy,” at 6 p.m. tonight on the second floor of the Nimitz Museum. The 1989 film, starring Paul Newman, is part of the museum’s commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Pacific battles that led to the end of World War II. This movie is free to the public and all are welcome. Seating is limited. Sports • The Fredericksburg Junior Softball All-Stars will have a send off at Fredericksburg High School at 9 a.m. this morning for their trip to the Texas West State Tournament in Abilene. Fredericksburg’s first game is against Oil Belt Little League at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
